Born in Uzbekistan, he moved to the United States at age 7 and had to learn a new language and adjust to a different culture. But his strong foundation kept him focused on pursuing his dreams. His culinary expertise has allowed him to fuse Russian and Eastern European cuisine with a touch of France.
